The Lower Bridge offers great views across the vegetation and open water of Kotu Creek and you will find many local guides wait here hoping to be hired for the day.
The bird life is even more interesting, with Wire-tailed Swallow, Senegal Thick-knee, Snowy-crowned Robin Chat and Yellow-crowned Gonolek all very possible. Striated Heron, Hamerkop, White-backed Night Heron, Black-headed Plover, Pied Kingfisher, Wattled Plover, Beautiful Sunbird and Broad-billed Roller are just a few of the many species you may see in the area around Kotu Creek.
