Kaur Wetlands
After an early breakfast we will make our way to Farafenni. On the way you may see Northern Carmine Bee-eater and European Bee-eater. Waiting for the ferry can be productive too - Winding Cisticola may be heard and even seen in the reeds nearby.
Reaching the opposite bank of the River Gambia you will continue towards Kaur Wetlands, with more birding stops along the way.
On arrival at the Kaur Wetlands area you will be treated to sights of many waders, which will hopefully include the beautiful Egyptian Plover - a target bird for many! There may also be Kittlitz's Plover, Collared Pratincole and Little Stint amongst others.
